What’s up with Mumbai Marines FC in October 2022

Mumbai Marines FC are up to a mixed start to their Super League 2022-23 campaign. Having won 3-1 against Ratnam SA on their debut, they succumbed to a 1-0 loss against Mumbai Ultras in the Mumbai Derby. The goal they conceded was scored in the second minute of stoppage time. Having played two matches in September, Mumbai Marines FC registered one win and one loss. That brings the Marines side to October 2022 and here’s what’s lined up for Mumbai Marines FC.

First up is the rescheduled match against Veniza Virar FC which is now scheduled to kick off at 4.30 pm on Monday, 3rd October 2022 at St Neville’s ground, Bandra. Previously scheduled on the 13th of September 2022, this match had to be rescheduled because St Neville’s ground was under maintenance. Mumbai Marines FC will look to bounce back from the 1-0 loss they suffered at the hands of Mumbai Ultras in the last match. The second match lined up for October is scheduled for 11th October against Skorost FC which will kick off at 2 pm. This match also happens at St Neville’s Ground, Bandra.

For the third match of October, Mumbai Marines FC clash against Bombay YMCA on Wednesday, 19th October at 2 pm at Cooperage ground in Colaba. Finally, Mumbai Marines FC will face Sea View-FSI on Friday, 28th October. The match is scheduled at 9 am at Cooperage ground, Colaba. The final match of the month is a morning kick-off, and the first three are afternoon kick-offs.

Mumbai Marines FC is a football team based out of Mumbai, currently playing in Mumbai FA’s Super Premier League. Established in 2017, the club started from MFA Third Division, getting three back-to-back promotions to reach the MFA Super Premier League, by reaching the 2021-22 Season’s First Division semi-finals. Their journey also included being the Runners-Up at the 2019-20 Second Division. The club has the goal, vision, and mission to reach the Top tier of Indian Football in the next 7 years.
